Paleo Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 Box Simple Mills Chocolate Almond Flour Mix
  • 3 Eggs room temperature
  • cup Almond Milk
  • cup apple sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
  • ½ cup Vegan Chocolate Chips it really depends how much you love chocolate – I use the whole bag
  • 1 Jar of Simple Mills Chocolate or Vanilla Frosting

Instructions

  • Pre-heat Oven to 325 degrees
  • Grease and put parchment paper on the bottom of your jelly roll pan. I used a 15 x 10 pan which I will link below.
  • Wisk together the eggs, almond milk, apple sauce and vanilla extract then add in the chocolate almond flour mix.
  • Fold in the desired amount of chocolate chips and mix to incorporate.
  • Pour the batter into the jelly roll pan and smooth out.
  • Bake for 15 min.
  • Cool completely on your kitchen counter to complete the baking process. Once the cake is fully cool leave in the pan and place in the freezer. I would recommend overnight, at the least two hours so that the cake is hardened when you cut out the layers.
